This even is hosted by the Seguin Education Foundation. Proceeds from this event will benefit grants for Seguin ISD campuses distributed by the Seguin Education Foundation.

Pumpkin Patch

9 a.m. to 7 p.m – First United Methodist Church, 710 North Austin St

Take part of a beloved fall tradition and visit the pumpkin patch filled with lots of family activities and photo opportunities. This is the 23rd year of making memories with pumpkins and the people of Seguin and beyond.

18th Annual Wilson Pottery Show

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Historic Sebastopol House & Wilson Pottery Museum, 704 Zorn St

The Wilson family’s pottery business is the first known business in Texas owned by a freed slave. The kiln was located just outside of Seguin. This show is a great venue to view, purchase or sell collectible 1900 era clay pieces from Guadalupe and surrounding counties. Collectors from various Texas counties convene annually for great conversation, friendship and safe/trade opportunities.

Fire Prevention at the Heritage Museum

10 a.m to 2 p.m – Guadalupe County Heritage Museum, 114 North River St

Participants can have their picture taken on a vintage fire truck, which will be parked on N. River in front of the Museum. Photos can then be picked up inside of the museum. No charge for a 4 x 6 photo, but donations are welcomed. All proceeds will benefit the Heritage Museum.

Magnolia Hotel Open House Tours

9 a.m. to 2 p.m – Magnolia Hotel, 203 S. Crockett St

Come out and enjoy a free guided tour of the Historic Magnolia Hotel. The walls of this hotel, built in 1840 by James Campbell, have seen many things. Come in and see a little bit of haunted history!

Heritage Village Open House

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Heritage Village, 213 East Live Oak St.

Seguin Conservation Society is offering free tours of some of Seguin’s first buildings. Come out and embrace Seguin History with us!

Shopping and More at Downtown Trade Days

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Downtown Seguin Square, 201 South Austin Street

Shop over 100 vendors downtown central park with items as small as pecans to as big as home decor!

Celebrate Pecan Fest at the Red Barn

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  – The Big Red Barn, 390 Corova Rd, Seguin, TX 78155

The Red Barn – home of the “Real” Big Pecan – will feature the Pecan Museum of Texas. The Pecan Museum displays pecan equipment, examples of pecan wood, pecan memorabilia, examples of pecan varieties, a collection of nutcrackers, the history of the pecan industry. Turkey & Dressing Lunch including desserts at 11:30 a.m. ($15.00)  and concessions will be available. A Pecan Baking Contest for both youth and adult.  Entertainment for kids to include games, hay rides, horse rides, a kiddie train, and a photo “op” with the Big Pecan. Pecans and pecan products and various items in over 80 vendor booths will be on sale. There will be live animals and the historical country village to visit along with Buffalo Soldiers at the camp site. Free parking and shuttle rides to downtown events. Admission is free. Taller De Arte/ Arts Crafts Workshop

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Downtown Seguin Square, 201 South Austin Street

Theatro De Artes De Juan Seguin is a pioneering cultural arts center founded right here in Seguin in 1982. Our mission includes promoting a better understanding of the Mexican-American people through the arts. The demographics of Seguin are such that organizations such as ours remain a vital part of the Mexican-American and Tejano heritage of not only Seguin but Central Texas.

Everything will be provided at this workshop except for tables and chairs so that the youth can learn several unique arts and crafts while enjoying the rest of what Pecan Fest has to offer.

Seguin Wine Tasting

Tasting Texas Wines & Meads (Honey Wine) at the winery. We have a great selection of dry, semi – sweet & sweet wines to choose from for your tasting. Stop by and enjoy the afternoon.

Pecan Fest and Hanging with the Spirits

4 p.m. to 12 a.m. – The Rose Ballroom and 1916 Bar & Bistro, 301 N Austin St

Join us at 1916 Bar & Bistro for Pecan Beer, Pecan Pie, and Fun! As the night approaches, we will turn into the “Old Haunted Hotel.” Go on a tour of the building visiting The Rose Ballroom, Mezzanine, Rooftop Patio, and Top Floor: Bridal Suite.

Johnny Cash Tribute and Pecan Pie Contest

7 p.m to 9:30 p.m – Palace Theatre, 314 S Austin St
