Wine Tasting at Blue Lotus Winery and Texas Mead Works
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Blue Lotus Winery, 5151 FM 20
Enjoy delicious tastes of Texas wines and meads (honey wines) made right here in Seguin. The winery has a wide selection of dry, semi-sweet, and sweet wines to choose from for tastings. Stop by to enjoy the afternoon with some of the greatest views around. Tickets for the tasting is $7.00 and can be purchased at the door.
Go Nuts at the Seguin Public Library
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – 313 West Nolte Street
Be sure to stop by the Seguin Public Library and discover why the locals have gone NUTS over this spectacular new addition to Seguin. Take a tour of the library and discover all the unique features that make the building so inspiring or just sit, relax and enjoy the views. Several furniture pieces and accent walls were created with pecan trees from the site of the library.
5th Annual Historic Riverside Cemetery Tour
1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. – Riverside Cemetery, 201 South Klein Street
Get a first person account of the lives of eight influential Seguinites who built Seguin into what it is today. This is the 5th annual tour and is part of National Cemetery Day. Tours are at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 per person and can be purchased at Gift & Gourmet, in Central Park during Trade Days on Saturday, October 29, and on site at the cemetery the day of the tour.
German Polka Service and Sausage Supper
4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -Emanuel’s Lutheran Church, 206 North Travis Street
Enjoy a German Polka Service followed by dinner and entertainment with proceeds going to the Christian Cupboard. Don’t forget to bring a canned item. Meal tickets are $8.00.
